All LAMA rotations are guaranteed hands-on. You will take patient histories, perform physical exams, write notes, present cases, and perform procedures (IVs, ABGs, suturing, Foley catheters, etc.) under attending supervision. This is confirmed by hundreds of student testimonials. LAMA does not offer pure observerships.
Yes. LAMA provides comprehensive visa assistance including invitation letters from U.S. hospitals, detailed document checklists, mock interview preparation, and guidance on B1/B2 or J-1 visa requirements. Our visa success rate is 98%, and many students receive 5-year multiple-entry U.S. visas.
Rotations typically range from 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the specialty and hospital requirements. Most students complete 4-week electives, but extended rotations are available for those seeking more in-depth experience. You can also combine multiple specialties back-to-back.
Yes. Attending physicians at our partner hospitals provide strong, personalized letters of recommendation for residency applications. Many LAMA alumni have successfully matched into competitive U.S. residency programs using these letters. We also provide guidance on how to request and follow up on letters of recommendation.
Pricing varies by specialty, duration, and hospital location. Please contact LAMA directly for a detailed quote based on your specific needs.
